Uzbekistan and China exchange experiences
During the delegation’s visit from the General Administration of Customs of Chinato the Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, several working meetings and presentations were held to advance bilateral cooperation in customs auditing.
The Chinese side shared its experience with organizing customs audits, auditing practices, risk management mechanisms, and modern analytical tools used in customs administration.

In turn, the specialists of the Customs Committee of Uzbekistan familiarized their colleagues with the legal and organizational foundations of customs auditing in Uzbekistan. Special attention was paid to analyzing participants’ foreign economic activities, controlling the customs value of goods, classifying them, and improving interdepartmental information exchange.
During the joint discussions, experts from the two countries exchanged views on current issues in the development of customs audit, reviewed existing challenges, and discussed effective mechanisms to overcome them. The parties focused on the digitalization of customs audits, the improvement of risk assessment systems, the development of the analytical potential of customs authorities, and the wide implementation of international standards in the field.

Following the meetings, agreements were reached to expand cooperation in customs auditing, establish a permanent dialogue among specialists, and regularly conduct joint training programs and experience-sharing events. This will help strengthen cooperation and improve the customs administration system.
