Uzbekistan and Belarus to expand cooperation in education, science and healthcare

The third panel session, titled “Strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Belarus in the humanitarian and social spheres: opportunities and prospects”, took place in Khiva as part of the Fourth Business Forum of Women Entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan and Belarus.

Participants reviewed the current state of cooperation between the two countries in higher and vocational education, scientific research, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and innovation, and discussed ways to deepen this cooperation and advance it in promising areas.

In the pharmaceutical sector, participants exchanged views on promising areas for practical cooperation among relevant organizations of the two countries, including developing innovative products and technologies and applying research findings in pharmaceutical practice.

Following the session, relevant organizations from Uzbekistan and Belarus signed several agreements to develop cooperation in education, science, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals.
