Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan sign agreements
A ceremony of signing bilateral documents took place in Tashkent with the participation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov, who arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in the Fifth Tashkent International Investment Forum.
The signed agreements aim to expand cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan in the mining, banking, and investment sectors.
Agreements have been reached for the joint development of a gold deposit in Uzbekistan, with AzerGold’s participation. Documents on cooperation in the banking sector between the International Bank of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan’s partners were also signed.
The parties agreed to implement projects to explore and develop strategically important minerals in Uzbekistan, with the participation of NEQSOL Holding.
The signing of the documents became another step in strengthening the strategic partnership and expanding mutually beneficial economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.
