Tribute paid to the memory of fallen veterans of the prosecution authorities
As part of the implementation of the Head of State’s resolution of April 16 of this year, “On measures to prepare and hold May 9 – the Day of Remembrance and Honor”, events are being held across the country to uphold human honor and dignity and to show care and attention to all compatriots, regardless of their nationality, language, and religion.
In accordance with this resolution, the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Tashkent City Prosecutor’s Office, as well as the Military and Transport Prosecutor’s Offices have organized several events.
The leadership and staff of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Tashkent City Prosecutor’s Office, and the Military and Transport Prosecutor’s Offices, along with veterans of the Veterans Social Support Center and members of the Public Council, visited Victory Park in the capital’s Almazar district.

Wreaths were laid at the Ode to Fortitude monument, and the participants honored the memory of those who died defending the Motherland.
It should be noted that from 1941 to 1945, 500 employees worked in the prosecution authorities, of whom about 80 percent, around 400 people, were called up to the front. The rest worked on the home front, taking part in addressing the country’s socio-economic tasks, ensuring uninterrupted production of resources for the front, providing social support to minors evacuated to Uzbekistan, and in other important areas.

During the events, veterans and employees of the prosecution authorities also visited the graves of veterans of the prosecution bodies who had devoted many years to service in the system, shown courage on the battlefields of the Second World War, and selflessly ensured the rule of law on the home front.

In particular, at the Minor cemetery, the graves of Mannonov, Usmonov, Inomjonov, and other veterans were visited, while at the Chigatoy cemetery, flowers were laid at the graves of Ustaboyev, Rashidov, Ruzmetov, Sheraliyev, Mustafoyev, and others.
The leadership of the prosecutor’s office also visited the families of deceased veterans.
