The President of Uzbekistan to pay an official visit to Serbia

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Serbia on September 7-8.

According to the agenda, Belgrade will host high-level negotiations and a business forum involving officials and business representatives from both nations.

The agenda for the upcoming talks focuses on strengthening the diverse partnership between Uzbekistan and Serbia.

Particular focus will be on broadening trade, economic, and investment collaboration, along with executing joint initiatives in key sectors like transport, mechanical engineering, light industries, food industries, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and IT.

The discussion will also cover establishing cooperation in orderly labor migration, as well as expanding interregional, cultural, and humanitarian ties.

Following the summit, the parties expect to adopt a substantial package of intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements.
