The number of foreign-invested enterprises in Uzbekistan exceeds 18,700

According to the National Statistics Committee, as of March 1, 2026, 18,770 foreign-invested enterprises are operating in Uzbekistan.

Of these, 4,365 are joint ventures, while 14,405 are wholly foreign-owned enterprises.

Over the past five years, the number of enterprises with foreign investment has increased by 1.4 times. During the same period, the share of wholly foreign-owned enterprises rose from 55.2% to 76.7%.
