The American-Uzbek Business and Investment Council begins operations in the United States
In Washington, the American-Uzbek Business and Investment Council has officially begun its operations – a new platform to strengthen ties between entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan and the United States. The Council aims to establish a strong institutional foundation for joint economic initiatives between the two countries.
Following the first meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed, according to Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The formation of the Council was made possible by the strong trust between the Presidents of Uzbekistan and the United States. Co-chair Ambassador Sergio Gor noted that over the past year, the United States has demonstrated a serious commitment to strengthening strategic ties in Central Asia.

The Council will serve as a crucial tool to encourage bilateral investment initiatives and foster dialogue between the business communities of both nations.
