The 2nd Tashkent International Half Marathon has concluded
The second International Tashkent Half Marathon, featuring over 24,000 participants, has concluded in the capital. The winners of this major sporting event were determined after intense competition.
The 2nd Tashkent International Half Marathon took place in our capital. The competition featured a 5-kilometer mass run and a 21.0975-kilometer half marathon, with over 24,000 participants taking part.
According to the competition results, in the 5-kilometer race, Eldor Botirov took first place among the men. Ruslan Khadjiyev finished second, and Behruz Shavkatov took third place. Among the women, Alina Hakimova was the winner. Maftuna Ahmedova secured second place, and Kamola Ablayeva recorded the third-best result.
In the 21.0975-kilometer half marathon, Andrey Petrov was the first to cross the finish line among the men. Hasan Mirsoatov took second place, and Bakhtiyor Utkirov finished third. Among the women, Marjona Ahmadaliyeva won the top prize. Sadafbonu Nusratulloyeva came in second, and Arofatkhon Imomaliyeva took third place.
The winners and prize-winners of the competition were also awarded cash prizes. Specifically, for the half marathon distance, first-place winners received 15 million soums, second-place winners were awarded 12 million soums, and third-place winners received 10 million soums.
In the 5-kilometer race, the winners were awarded 3 million soums, second-place finishers received 2 million soums, and third-place finishers were given 1 million soums.
