Sirojiddin Muhriddin: “All conditions have been created at the Embassy of Tajikistan”
The new Embassy of Tajikistan building in Tashkent has been commissioned.
Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Emomali Rahmon cut a symbolic ribbon and inaugurated the new diplomatic mission building.

UzA correspondent interviewed Tajikistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sirojiddin Muhriddin, about this event.

– For the people of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, the eve of the Navruz was full of historical events, – says Sirojiddin Muhriddin. – The First Meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council was held at a high level, and then we witnessed the opening of the new building of the Embassy of Tajikistan in Uzbekistan. This is also an event of historical significance. The diplomats are pleased that this event was organized at the presidential level. We express our deep gratitude to the Uzbek side. Uzbekistan has provided us with comprehensive assistance. All conditions have been created for diplomats to work and live. I evaluate this as an achievement of Uzbek diplomacy.
Last year, a new building of the Embassy of Uzbekistan was opened in the best district of Dushanbe. I am convinced that these events will strengthen fraternal relations between our countries and serve as a solid foundation for implementing important projects and programs to ensure the interests of the two peoples.
