President of Uzbekistan lays wreath at Victory Monument
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev laid a wreath at the Victory Monument in Minsk.
A military band performed the national anthems of the two countries. Soldiers from the guard of honor company participated in a ceremonial march.
The main events of the visit will take place on July 9. At the Palace of Independence, the leaders of Uzbekistan and Belarus will hold high-level talks.
