President of Uzbekistan arrives in Cholpon-Ata

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, together with his spouse, has arrived in Kyrgyzstan on a state visit.

At Issyk-Kul International Airport in Cholpon-Ata, they were welcomed by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov and his spouse.

In honor of the distinguished guests, the national flags of the two countries were raised, and a guard of honor was lined up.

Today, during the talks, the leaders will discuss ways to deepen the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan and elevate it to a new level.

The President of Uzbekistan is also scheduled to participate in the informal Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan.
