New orchards of Beshariq

In recent years, Beshariq district has become an economically strong region not only in Fergana region, but also in Uzbekistan.

Industry, agriculture, and the social sphere are actively developing here. Local entrepreneurs have entered the global market.

The district is also known for its endless apricot orchards and its best-tasting dried fruit. From Italy to Poland, from Kuwait to Saudi Arabia, Beshariq dried apricots are in demand.

Fargonaagrostar LLC brought seedlings of a low-growing, precocious, high-yielding apricot variety from Türkiye’s Favorin, prepared the soil, installed drip irrigation, and provided electricity. The seedlings were stored in a special room. Planting activities were carried out with the participation of the district Hokim Rasuljon Jurayev, elders, gardeners, and young specialists.

Experienced gardeners studied breeding and hybridization and examined seedlings’ root systems.

It is planned to grow these varieties in other regions as well.
