Meeting with compatriots in Estonia

Efforts are underway to strengthen friendship and cooperation between Uzbekistan and Estonia and promote their national values and traditions.

The Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries hosted a meeting with compatriots living in Narva, Estonia.

The meeting focused on ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan, the country’s achievements in recent years, friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Estonia, and traditions and joint commemorations of memorable dates.

Proposals were also put forward to develop and implement new projects involving compatriots living in Estonia, in partnership with the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries and the Sister Cities Alliance.

It was emphasized that these initiatives will facilitate the development of public diplomacy and further consolidate friendly relations between the two peoples.
