As part of the 59th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank, representatives from various countries, heads of financial institutions, and leading experts are sharing their insights with journalists.
– The changes taking place in your country, the pace of development, and especially the level of preparation for international events deserve high praise and clearly demonstrate Uzbekistan’s potential, – said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Economy of South Korea, Koo Yun Cheol. – The President of the country gives priority to the modernization of the economy and to ensuring sustainable growth.
I am convinced that in the near future, Uzbekistan will be able to become one of the developed countries. Investments in infrastructure, biotechnology, and healthcare are a sound strategic decision.
These areas not only stimulate economic growth but also improve people’s well-being. With the consistent implementation of the chosen strategy, the country will be able to build a stable and competitive economy.
In recent years, relations between the Republic of Korea and Uzbekistan have strengthened significantly. We are strategic partners, and our cooperation continues to deepen.
The ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan’s medical sector deserve high praise. Investment projects to launch a multidisciplinary clinic and a center for the treatment of oncological diseases in Tashkent are under discussion. This will not only improve the quality of medical services but also create new jobs.
Cooperation between the Republic of Korea and Uzbekistan will be mutually beneficial.
