Five Uzbek boxers enter the BoxRec Top 10
Five representatives from Uzbekistan have entered the top 10 in the updated rankings published by the boxing statistics portal BoxRec.
Abdumalik Khalokov, the 2024 Olympic champion and two-time world champion, has been named the world’s top amateur boxer across all weight classes.
Despite losing to Russia’s Vsevolod Shumkov in the final of the 2025 IBA World Championships, A. Khalokov remained at the top of the rankings.

The BoxRec top 10 features 2025 world champions Fazliddin Erkinboyev (5th) and Turabek Khabibullayev (7th), along with 2024 Olympic and three-time world champion Asadkhuja Muydinkhujayev (8th), as well as 2023 World Championships silver medalist Saidjamshid Jafarov (10th).
Saidjamshid Jafarov, who represents Azerbaijan, is still listed in the BoxRec rankings as representing Uzbekistan.
