Cooperation in education
A delegation comprising 23 heads of professional development institutes from the Republic of Korea visited the National Institute of Pedagogical Excellence named after Abdulla Avloni.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Preschool and School Education Azizbek Turdiyev, the institute’s leadership, professors, and staff.
Deputy Minister of Preschool and School Education Azizbek Turdiyev briefed the guests on the role of international cooperation in modernizing the education system, the attention paid in the country to foreign-language learning, and, in particular, the work underway to promote Korean-language teaching.
He also emphasized the importance of studying the Republic of Korea’s best practices in education and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.

The opportunities available in the Korean education system to support teachers’ professional development and innovative teaching methods, and the importance of sharing experiences, were discussed.
Abduvali Ismailov, Rector of the National Institute of Pedagogical Excellence named after Abdulla Avloni, who is currently on a business trip to China, also joined the meeting online. He provided information on the institute’s activities, efforts to ensure the continuous professional development of teaching and managerial staff, and prospects for international cooperation, and expressed interest in expanding cooperation between the parties.

The parties discussed the professional development of teaching staff, the exchange of educational experience, areas for cooperation, and plans for further work.
