Asmita Satyarthi: We commend Uzbekistan for its global leadership and dedication to youth development

Asmita Satyarthi, Chief Executive Officer at the Satyarthi Global Movement for Compassion, a participant in the Samarkand Global Conference, shared her thoughts:

– The first day of the conference was truly remarkable. First and foremost, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and to all the senators with us today for the warm reception, exceptional hospitality, and the high-level organization of the event.

We highly commend Uzbekistan's global leadership, particularly its focus on and efforts to support young members of parliament.

It is crucial to reinforce the principles of democratic values, human rights, freedom, justice, and the safeguarding of each individual’s dignity. I would like to extend special thanks for Uzbekistan’s role and contributions in this effort.

The conference work remains highly productive today. It offers a valuable chance to connect with parliamentarians from different countries, share best practices, exchange knowledge and experiences, and foster future collaboration.
