AFC delegation arrives in Tashkent

A delegation led by the President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa has arrived in Uzbekistan.

The Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan Adham Ikramov, First Vice Chairman of the National Olympic Committee Otabek Umarov, First Vice President of the Uzbekistan Football Association Ravshan Irmatov, and NOC Secretary General Oybek Qosimov welcomed the delegation at Tashkent International Airport. 

During the visit, discussions are planned on several important projects to promote football in Uzbekistan, develop football infrastructure, and strengthen international cooperation.

During its stay in Tashkent through October 18, the AFC delegation will visit sports complexes and stadiums that are under construction.
