A welcoming ceremony for the President of Tajikistan takes place

A welcoming ceremony was held at the Kuksaroy Residence for the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon upon his arrival in Uzbekistan for a state visit.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev warmly welcomed the distinguished guest and invited him to the podium.

The national flags of the two countries were raised, and a guard of honor was lined up. A military orchestra performed the national anthems of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.

The leaders walked along the guard of honor and welcomed members of the official delegations.

Following a joint photo session, negotiations between the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan began.
