Humo Arena majestic complex erected in the center of the capital and commissioned on the eve of Navruz is decorated accordingly. Traditions of our people associated with Navruz are displayed. Tightrope walkers pleased the eye of the visitors with their talents. Tables are covered with spring dishes.

The hall gathered deputies and senators, members of the government, science, culture and art, representatives of the sports community, advanced workers, entrepreneurs, veterans, compatriots effectively working in various fields, representatives of foreign embassies and representative offices of international organizations in Uzbekistan.

Navruz is one of the ancient holidays. Nowadays, it is celebrated in various corners of the world with joy and festive celebrations. In accordance with the resolution of the UN General Assembly of February 23, 2010, March 21 is celebrated around the world as the International Day of Navruz. At all times, Navruz was a symbol of peace, tranquility, harmony and friendship, love for nature. Our ancestors for centuries celebrate it as a symbol of goodness, generosity and equality.

Navruz is a time of prosperity, kindness and mercy. Uzbekistan people celebrate it in high spirits. From the first days of spring, landscaping activities are carried out more actively in the country, charity events are organized, makhallas and residential areas are being improved.

During the holiday, energetic youth, generous entrepreneurs provide free assistance to people in need.

The President of Uzbekistan, on the eve of the national holiday of Navruz, signed the Decree “On pardoning a group of persons serving a sentence, who sincerely repented of their actions and firmly embarked on the path of correction”. This became another confirmation of grateful qualities inherent in people.

Artistic, folklore and ethnographic groups of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the regions are widely represented in the festivities. They demonstrate the diversity of traditions, oral folk art of the regions.

Our people with dreams of the future, the happiness of their children direct their strength to creative work. As the President notes, today, the nature, the whole wonderful world around us is once again entering a time of rebirth and renewal. And our native Uzbekistan is amid a new stage of national development.

All this has found a bright embodiment in the festive celebrations. Artists, young performers with their songs dedicated to the Motherland, independence, renewal gave a special joyful mood. In such moments, feelings of love and devotion to the Motherland, mutual respect and mercy become stronger.
