Regional Director for Central Asia and Azerbaijan of Elsevier Company Aliya Ospanova and Head of the Center for Implementation of Electronic Education in Educational Institutions under the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Dilnoza Allanazarova addressed the meeting on “The main tasks of preparing publications for inclusion in Scopus databases”.
A.Ospanova introduced students to the latest products from Scopus, and D.Allanazarova spoke about the difficulties that arise in the work of modern editors and possibilities of their solution.
Main attention was paid to the requirements of Scopus for magazines, strategies for development of journals with the help of Scopus services.
The meeting participants received a unique experience of communicating with experts directly involved in selection of journals for Scopus database.
