A branch of the University of Economics and Technology of Turkey to be opened in Tashkent
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed a Memorandum on opening a branch of the University of Economics and Technology of Turkey under the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey in Tashkent.

During the official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Turkey, the first meeting of Uzbekistan – Turkey Strategic Cooperation Council of the highest level was held in Ankara, following which a joint statement was signed.
According to the CCI, a number of agreements on trade-economic relations have been signed. The initiative on opening a branch of the University of Economics and Technology of Turkey was forwarded by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan during the negotiations of the Business Council of the Turkic Speaking States, held in October 2019 in Tashkent.
The branch of the university will train specialists in business and entrepreneurship based on dual education system.
