Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Poland took part in the conference “Lower Silesia – Poland – Asia. Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow”.
The event was organized by the Institute of Classical, Mediterranean and Oriental Studies at the University of Wroclaw.
The event was attended by the heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Poland, heads of large corporations, representatives of political, economic, academic, expert and public circles of the country, and the media.
The participants discussed issues of further enhancing trade and economic ties between the EU, in particular, Poland and the Asian countries, prospects for investment cooperation, as well as existing obstacles on this path.
The Polish side expressed interest in establishing partnerships with Uzbekistan regions and cities. They expressed their readiness to exchange visits of delegations to reach specific agreements as the quarantine measures weaken.
Following the event, an agreement was reached on holding joint events in Wroclaw.
