Current issues of further developing relations between Uzbekistan and Germany were discussed at the meeting between the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov and German Ambassador Tilo Klinner.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, at the meeting, the positive dynamics of the political dialogue at various levels were noted with satisfaction.

Views were exchanged on the organizational and substantive aspects of the planned events in bilateral and multilateral formats.

The interest of Uzbekistan and Germany in building up trade and economic interaction, including the diversification of trade between the countries and increasing the number of joint ventures, was emphasized.

The main attention was paid to the possibilities of enhancing cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany in culture, education and science.
