The Embassy of Uzbekistan in London organized online talks between the First Deputy Minister of Secondary Special and Higher Education of Uzbekistan Komiljon Karimov and Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education of Oxford University Martin Williams.

The parties exchanged views on the development of cooperation between Oxford University and relevant government departments and universities in a wide range of areas of academic and research cooperation. The possibility of involving the assistance of the British university in the process of retraining managerial personnel of Uzbekistan in economics was also discussed.

The parties agreed to maintain regular contacts for the practical implementation of plans.
