A delegation of business people from Türkiye led by the President of the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen’s Association MÜSİAD Mahmut Asmali arrived in Uzbekistan.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the MÜSİAD organized a business forum and B2B meetings.

According to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the purpose of this visit is to conduct talks on the construction industry, agriculture, food industry, oil and metallurgy, meat and dairy industry, wind and solar energy, transport and logistics.

At the forum, Turkish entrepreneurs got acquainted with the work carried out in Uzbekistan to improve the investment environment further, liberalize the economy, and protect entrepreneurs' legitimate rights and interests.

At the B2B meeting, views were exchanged on the prospects for developing trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Türkiye, including the further acceleration of cooperation between enterprises of the two countries.

About 150 business entities in Uzbekistan took part in the event. Prospects for further development of trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Türkiye were discussed, including the exchange of views on deepening the partnership between the two countries.
