Two-part documentary film “Carpets are foundation of history” is being shot by the order of Uzbekkino National Agency, which tells about carpet weaving national art, demonstrating the tourism potential of Uzbekistan.

Filmmakers are shooting the film in Khiva’s Ichan Kala State Reserve Museum, Art Museum, Museum of Applied Arts and Khorezm Carpets workshop located in the city of Khiva in Khorezm region.

The screenwriter is Mavluda Tashpulatova. The film director is Aleksandr Gamirov, operator – Umid Malikov. The film is shot under the direction of Gulnora Abdurakhimova.
