On September 22, on the occasion of World Car Free Day, the campaign “Bicycle Day” was held in Uzbekistan.

The campaign was organized to popularize cycling as part of the implementation of the resolution of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev “On comprehensive measures to develop cycling” of September 24, 2021.

More than 700 professional and amateur cyclists took part in the campaign, which started in Ashgabat Park, in Tashkent.

The event was also attended by representatives of the Council for Physical Culture and Sports of the participants in the Agreement on Cooperation in Physical Culture and Sports of the CIS Member States, who are in Tashkent these days.
