Ambassador of Uzbekistan Abat Fayzullayev has held talks with Albert van Jaarsveld, Director General of the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA).

The parties discussed issues of enhancing collaboration between the academic and expert-analytical circles, and the establishment of practical cooperation in economic, social and political research.

The sides also considered issues of establishing cooperation between IIASA and the leading research centers of Uzbekistan. It was noted that the accumulated experience, and the analytical and statistical bases of the parties, will undoubtedly allow constructing mutually beneficial cooperation.
