The international conference held at the University of Kashmir provided detailed information on the history and current state of bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and India.
The two-day event, organized by the University’s Centre of Central Asian Studies – CCAS, provided a platform for scientific exchange and collaboration, promoting understanding of the historical and cultural ties between India and Central Asian states.
During the conference, Indian research centers identified the main areas of scientific cooperation to study the ongoing renewal processes in South and Central Asia. In particular, the India – Central Asia Foundation and the Centre of Central Asian Studies at the University of Kashmir signed a Memorandum of mutual support for research work in this direction.
A presentation of new books by CCAS scientists on India – Central Asia relations was also held, and a recent issue of the Central Asia magazine was presented.
