On September 8, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for Astana on a working visit.

In the capital of Kazakhstan, the President of Uzbekistan will participate in the opening ceremony of the Fifth World Nomad Games – international sports competitions in ethnic sports included in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List.

It should be noted that more than 2,000 athletes from about 90 countries, including a team from Uzbekistan, are expected to participate in this sporting event.
