On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the foundation of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, an International Scientific and Practical Conference on “Training qualified professional personnel in crime prevention and crime control: trends and prospects” was held in Tashkent.
Representatives of international organizations, the diplomatic corps, leading domestic and foreign universities, the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Legislative Chamber, and the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, ministries, and agencies attended the conference.
The conference’s purpose is to discuss the trends and prospects for training personnel in crime prevention and crime control, exchange experience, and develop proposals and recommendations aimed at the practical implementation of modern approaches in education, bringing cooperation with partner organizations, universities, and research institutions to a new level.
The reports were heard from representatives of government agencies, industry specialists, scientists, international and domestic experts. The conference participants were shown a video dedicated to the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs activities. Also, as part of the event, it is planned to hold bilateral meetings between representatives of foreign universities and the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, signing agreements to develop cooperation.
Following the conference, a joint resolution will be adopted, and a collection of scientific materials will be published.
