Tashkent hosts “New Uzbekistan. New View” Media Week.

The event is being held by the National Association of Electronic Mass Media of Uzbekistan in cooperation with several state, public and international organizations.

Masterclasses are being held by foreign and local TV journalists for local young journalists. Based on their results, the most talented participants will be selected from groups by German, Russian and Uzbekistan experts. The winners will continue their activities based on a contract on TV and radio channels.

Within the framework of the Media Week, the official opening ceremony of the VII International Film Festival “Shum Bola-2021”, held by Uzbekistan Cinematography Agency and the Goethe-Institut Usbekistan, has taken place. 

The feature film Madison, directed by Kim Strobl, was also shown in Uzbek.
