Tashkent hosted a congress with the participation of International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) representatives.

Member of the Executive Committee of the International Weightlifting Federation, First Deputy Chairman of the Weightlifting Federation of Uzbekistan Shakhrillo Makhmudov, President of the International Weightlifting Federation Michael Irani, General Secretary of the International Weightlifting Federation Mohammed Jalloud and others addressed the event.

The event participants expressed gratitude to the Government of Uzbekistan and directly to the Weightlifting Federation of Uzbekistan for the hospitality and the high-level organization of the event.
