Asian Sambo Championships kick off in Tashkent.

Ezoza Abdumuminova (Uzbekistan, 47 kg), Despina Bochkova (Uzbekistan, 59 kg), Ulbolsin Adilova (Kazakhstan, 80 kg), Egambergan Iskanderov (Uzbekistan, 53 kg), Safidin Saifiddinzodo (Tajikistan, 71 kg), Khumoyun Pulatov (Uzbekistan, 98 kg), Alpesh Izenbay (Kazakhstan, 54 kg), Begoyim Khayitova (Uzbekistan, 72 kg), Shakhriyorbek Mamatkulov (Uzbekistan, 74 kg), Bolat Sapar (Kazakhstan, 88 kg), Ayjan Djilkibayeva (Kazakhstan, 50 kg), Ajar Salikova (Kazakhstan, 65 kg), Ilkhom Parmonov (Uzbekistan, 58 kg), Khamroz Rajabov (Tajikistan, 79 kg), Temirlan Kolbay (Kazakhstan, 98 kg) reached the highest step of the podium on the first day.

Uzbekistan’s Oybek Soliyev (64 kg) and Sohibjon Khasanbayev (88 kg) became the first in combat sambo.
