Hokim of the city of Tashkent, Jakhongir Artikkhodjayev, has met with Kazakhstan delegation led by the Minister of Trade and Integration Bakhyt Sultanov.
According to Tashkent City Hokimiyat, the parties discussed several areas of cooperation development.
It was noted that the current level of trade between Tashkent and Kazakhstan regions does not correspond to the existing potential. Participants of the meeting agreed to take all necessary measures to increase the trade turnover.
The parties considered the issue of opening a joint venture in Tashkent for the production of small and large power transformers, distribution substations and equipment for electrical networks. Cooperation within the framework of the Smart City Project was also discussed.
Kazakhstan’s Sergek Project on ensuring street and road safety and a joint project on early diagnosis of lung cancer using artificial intelligence that analyzes X-rays were put forward for consideration.
A decision was made to continue contacts of specialists to take specific measures for each of the proposals. The parties also agreed to exchange working groups of entrepreneurs for further mutual investment and the creation of production facilities.
