How are the tasks being implemented by the Commodity and raw materials exchange of the Republic of Uzbekistan established in 1994?A press conference organized by the Republican commodity and raw materials exchange was held at the National press center, where it was noted that exchange technologies and rules have been developed over the past period, the best practices of foreign countries have been introduced into practice, a network of brokerage offices and trading platforms has been established. This ensures transparency of trade processes and promotes the development of small business and private entrepreneurship.
At present, the indicator of participation in electronic trading is one of the important criteria for assessing exchange activities. In this direction, the Commodity and raw materials exchange of the Republic of Uzbekistan is one of the leaders among the CIS countries. In particular, the total value of agreements drawn up during 2004-2016 with participation of small business and private entrepreneurship entities has increased from 303,6 billion sums to 8,3 trillion sums. In the first half of this year, this figure reached 4,7 trillion sums. Entrepreneurs purchased goods for 3,2 trillion and sold for 1,5 trillion sums through the exchange. This indicates that business representatives are active participants in exchange trades and e-commerce.
In the system of Commodity and raw materials exchange of the Republic of Uzbekistan special attention is paid to the introduction of modern information and communication technologies. Creation of the personal cabinet of the Exchange customers provided an opportunity to check the status of settlement accounts in settlement and clearing chamber, obtain detailed information on agreements, manage cash. Through the interactive “one window” service, which allows accreditation on all Uzbekistan Commodity and raw materials exchange trading platforms, various operations can be remotely performed. This service contributes to saving customers time and money.
This year the Commodity and raw materials exchange of the Republic of Uzbekistan was presented with the international certificate of compliance ISO 9001: 2015. This confirms that in our country, organization and conduction of exchange trades, e-commerce is carried out at the level of international quality requirements.
Analysis of the information received by the Commodity and raw materials exchange facilitates the identification of shortcomings in the system, introduction of new methods of exchange trades. Attention is paid to creating more opportunities for customers, particularly entrepreneurs.
At the event, it was noted that new projects on implementation of the priority tasks are being introduced at the Commodity and raw materials exchange of the Republic of Uzbekistan in accordance with the economic reforms carried out in the country.
