On May 7-11, delegation of Uzbekistan led by the Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Development of Tourism attended the first meeting of the heads of the national tourism administrations of the SCO countries in Wuhan (PRC).

Representatives of India, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Russia took part at the event.

As reported by the Press Service of the Committee, delegations agreed on a draft Joint Action Plan for implementation of the Program on development of cooperation of the SCO member states in tourism industry for 2019-2020.

Bilateral negotiations between the leadership of the State Committee for Development of Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan and heads of travel agencies of China, India, Russia and Tajikistan were held, during which perspective directions of mutually beneficial partnership were discussed.
