Virtual talks were held between the Hokim of Samarkand region Erkinjon Turdimov and the Governor of the Nara prefecture Shogo Arai.

The parties discussed issues of developing multifaceted cooperation between the two regions in culture, sports, tourism, education, science, economics and others.

Shogo Arai expressed his readiness to make every effort to develop collaboration between Nara prefecture and Samarkand region.

Following the talks, an agreement was reached on signing an Agreement on friendly relations between Samarkand region and Nara prefecture in the near future.
