President of the Republic of Korea has ended his visit to Uzbekistan

As previously reported, on April 18, the President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in visited Inha University in Tashkent, where he got acquainted with the presentation of the project on telemedicine, implemented by Uzbekistan and Korea.
The main events of the visit took place on April 19 at Kuksaroy residence.
Development of practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea in trade-economic, investment, financial-technical, cultural-humanitarian and other fields was discussed.
Following the highest-level talks, relations between Uzbekistan and South Korea have risen to a completely new stage in the history of mutual relations – the level of a special strategic partnership.
During the visit, important arrangements were reached and agreements worth over 12 billion dollars were signed.
President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in visited the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and addressed the Parliament members.
The distinguished guest visited Mustakillik (Independence) Square. Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Moon Jae-in attended the opening ceremony of Uzbekistan – South Korea business forum, held at Uzexpocentre.
The Presidents together with their spouses took part in a concert organized in honor of the visit at Uzbekistan Palace of International Forums with participation of Uzbek and Korean artists.
On April 20, the opening ceremony of the House of Korean Culture and Art took place in Tashkent. The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in together with their spouses solemnly opened this Palace of Friendship and Culture.
In the same day, Moon Jae-in arrived in Samarkand. Presidents, in the company of their spouses, visited the historical monuments of Samarkand.
Today, President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in has ended his visit to Uzbekistan and departed from the city of Samarkand. Uzbekistan officials has seen off the distinguished guest.
