Plenary Session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis kicks off in Tashkent

On May 3, the ninth plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan kicked off in Tashkent.
It is attended by senators, heads of ministries and agencies, mass media workers.
Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan N.Yuldashev opened the session.
The agenda of the plenary session includes 23 issues, of which eight are laws. Among them there are laws “On public-private partnership”, “On privatization of non-agricultural land plots”, “On use of renewable energy sources”, “On pastures” and on introduction of amendments and additions to some codes and laws.
The agenda includes hearing of the reports of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Chairman of the Board of the Central Bank, the Prosecutor General, the Accounting Chamber, the Khokim of Tashkent region.
Issues related to international relations and introduction of amendments to the structure of the Supreme Court will also be considered.
