Chargé d'Affaires of Uzbekistan Nodir Ganiyev met with the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden.

The parties discussed the current state of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Sweden, as well as organizational issues of opening the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Stockholm.

Views were exchanged on the current regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Following the talks, an agreement was reached to maintain regular contacts and continue joint efforts to strengthen cooperation between Uzbekistan and Sweden in all areas.

As previously reported, on August 3, the first diplomat of the new Embassy of Uzbekistan in Sweden arrived in Stockholm, which became the 36th Embassy of Uzbekistan in foreign countries.
