One silver and two bronze

Istanbul hosts a tournament in martial arts.

At the competition, Tokyo Olympics medalist Bekzod Abdurakhmonov won a bronze medal in the 86 kg weight category. He defeated Akhmed Aibuev from France for bronze.

Another participant of the Tokyo Olympics Gulomjon Abdullayev won a silver medal at his first international tournament in a new weight category. He lost to Ravi Kumar from India with a difference of one point – 10:11.

Uzbekistan’s freestyle wrestler, winner of the Youth Olympic Games Umidjon Jalolov (65 kg) defeated Tulga Tumur Ochir from Mongolia 5:4 and won the bronze medal at the tournament.

Thus, the national freestyle wrestling team of Uzbekistan finished the tournament in Turkey with one silver and two bronze medals. As previously reported, on the first day of the competition, our Greco-Roman style wrestlers won three gold and one bronze medals.
