Hokim of Navoi region Normat Tursunov received a delegation of entrepreneurs led by the Ambassador of Germany to Uzbekistan Tilo Klinner.

The meeting was attended by the leadership of the Representative Office of the German Economy in Central Asia and specialists from the companies BOSCH, ABM Technik, YO’LTEC, operating in Uzbekistan.

The parties discussed issues of developing investment, trade and economic ties between the two countries, attracting German investors to Navoi region.

The Hokim of the region informed the delegation members about the benefits created for foreign investors, opportunities for implementing green energy projects together with the business community of Germany, cooperation between universities of the two countries and introducing the experience of Germany in professional schools and colleges of the region.

The Ambassador inquired about the conditions created for foreign investors in Navoi Free Economic Zone. He expressed confidence that tax incentives, convenient infrastructure, and logistics will arouse interest among German entrepreneurs.

The parties discussed cooperation issues in healthcare, information technology, and tourism. Promising directions for the development of relations between the territories were defined.

The Ambassador noted that cooperation would be mutually beneficial and promised to help attract potential German investors to Navoi region.
