Multimodal transportation of sesame seeds was carried out from India to Kazakhstan through Iran, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

According to Kazakhstan Temirzholshysy newspaper, the containers were sent from India’s Mundra Port across the Arabian Sea to the Iranian Port of Bandar Abbas by sea. Then by rail through Iran, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan to the city of Almaty. Travel time is over 20 days.
