On February 2, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Uzbekistan Zurab Abdushelishvili, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

The schedule of events planned for the current year, including the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation and Uzbekistan – Georgia inter-MFA consultations, has been agreed upon.

The parties’ interest in expanding the geography of interregional interaction was confirmed.

To intensify cultural-humanitarian exchanges, an agreement was reached to hold Culture and Cinema Days on a mutual basis and organize joint scientific and technical research.
