The Union of Writers of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with Kazakhstan’s writers. The guests were Akberen Elgezek, the First Deputy Chairman of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan, Nurtas Turganbek, a Department Head.

The guests got acquainted with the Museum of the History of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan. Teams of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan, magazines “Sharq Yulduzi”, “Zvezda Vostoka”, “Yoshlik”, “Jakhon Adabiyoti” met at the roundtable discussion with the guests.

The parties discussed issues of exchanging experience, strengthening literary ties between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. 

Following the event, the Chairman of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan, People’s Poet Sirojiddin Sayid, presented the guests with books and memorable gifts published under the auspices of the Union.
