Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Amanbay Orinbayev received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Uzbekistan Zehavit Ben-Hillel, Head of MASHAV under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel Eynat Shlein.

The parties discussed the large-scale work carried out in the Aral Sea region at the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan, cooperation between Uzbekistan and Israel in trade, economic, social and other spheres. Issues of increasing the knowledge of young people and specialists based on the best practices of Israel, organizing joint projects, workshops among students were discussed.

The need for the wide use of the experience of Israel in the implementation of water-saving technologies in drylands, the reuse of collector and wastewater in agricultural land, as well as improving the knowledge and skills of specialists was noted.

At the meeting, opinions and proposals were expressed on the wide use and promotion of the tourism potential of the Aral Sea region, attracting tourists to the region.
