
The Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnology is being created in Karakalpakstan.
A corresponding Government Resolution was adopted on May 4, according to which the institute will start operating from 2021/2022 academic year at Nukus Branch of Tashkent State Agrarian University.
The university plans to introduce a credit-modular system of education. Training will be conducted five days a week, and Saturday is defined as a self-study day.
Starting 2022/2023 academic year, Geoinformation Systems Center and a laboratory will be created in the structure of the Institute in cooperation with the German Society for International Cooperation. The activity of the educational-scientific center “Agrotechnologies of selection, seed production and cultivation of oilseeds” will be also established.
Specialists invited to work at the Institute from abroad and other regions of Uzbekistan will be allocated housing under construction in Nukus on preferential terms.
