First Deputy Chairman of Korea Uzbekistan Business Association (KUBA) Kim Chang Keon has met with the Hokim of Fergana region Khayrullo Bozorov and the Hokim of the city of Kokand Marufjon Usmanov.

The parties discussed issues of the implementation of projects in Fergana region, carried out with the support of KUBA. They considered the course of implementation and issues of support for the project on the development of the city of Kokand, which is being implemented by a consortium formed by the South Korean company Hanshin Engineering & Construction.

The participants informed that the showroom will be opened in September to demonstrate the premises and the leading works on the construction of facilities will begin.

Agreements were reached on concluding an agreement on the establishment of friendly relations between the city of Kokand and the Yeonsu-gu district of the city of Incheon, which the parties agreed to sign soon.
